The Viking Rocket Story, by Milton Rosen Harper & Brothers 1953, 288 pages, illustrated. This book is the detailed peronsal account of the Viking rocket program written by the man in charge, Milton Rosen. The Viking rocket later became the basiss for the first stage of the Vanguard launch vehicle.
This program was created in 1999 for the Library of Congress to celebrate the history of Brevard County, FL. Introduced by Rep. Weldon, this features a narrated tour of the history of the Space Coast, from before the Space Age through the shuttle/station era, focusing on the people who made it all happen. Interview excerpts are throughout the program . Additionally, this hour-long program looks at Port Canaveral, Florida Tech and the unique nature and wildlife of Brevard County.
