Orbital ATK’s Cygnus spacecraft is being prepped for it seventh launch under NASA’s Commercial Resupply Services contract to deliver experiments and supplies to the International Space Station. This will be the third time Cygnus has launched on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket, which enables it to carry more payload than launching on Orbital’s own Antares vehicle. This week, NASA invited the news media to view Cygnus in the cleanroom during final processing and talk with NASA, ULA and Orbital OA-7 mission managers. Here are some photos and video from the event.
